2400 Scarce Bordered Straw Heliothis armigera (Hübner, 1808)

In 2006 an unpresidented influx was noted in Yorkshire before this date there had been only 25 Yorkshire records. In 2006 there were 257 records of 405 moths including this first record for Calderdale at Saville park on  the 1^st September 2006 (CS)

2403 Bordered Straw Heliothis peltigera ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

As above an influx in 2006 in Yorkshiere of this species although somewhat smaller than the previouse ,77 records of 98 moths including these first two for Calderdale

1 nectaring at a Garden on Savile Park on the 25^th August 2006 (CS)

1attracted to actinic light  at Wyvern Terrace on the 5 September 2006(MH)
